Niccolls Plant Hire was founded by Bill Niccolls in 1968. Bill ran a small self-employed buisness on his own, with limited machinery, providing a service to local people of the New Forest. The buisness continued in this way for several years, until such time was needed for more help with the work load. Niccolls Plant Hire has since grown to an established family run buisness with a team of five. It is still based in the original location near Beaulieu within the New Forest, Hampshire.
Bill and his two sons (John and Pete) now provide a large range of services, together with their two long serving employees of over 25 years (Dave & Stuart). The book keeping and administration is undertaken by Sue (Bill's wife).
The services provided include excavations of foundations, construction of sea walls, jettys and fabrication of cattle grids and gates. Smaller projects include maintenance/repairs to gravel roads and car parks. Hedge cutting, ditching, land clearing and drainage.
Please go to services provided to obtain further information on these projects. We have also gathered a few photographs in our gallery, of projets completed by Niccolls Plant Hire.
